Well, yes, in a way.
But there is naive, and there there is fervently naive. Some people get annoyed when you (politely) call them up on their "non-facts." That gets my goat.

In my neighbourhood, we have a few. A great few, if you can say that.

I have seen MANY (perhaps a lot more than my fair share) of them across this land. Ergo the inflammatory remark.

Sorry to any well-meaning rednecks out there; I'm sure YOUR pick-up truck and dream catcher ensemble are lovely.

(edited for punctuation)
You are obviously having a bad hair day. Now please don't spoil yet another one of my illusions in my belief that Canadians DO NOT WHINGE!

Sorry to harp on, but referencing my own experiences and some posts on this site, I can say Canada is rife with opportunists pouncing on the naive. That kind of predation REALLY gets my goat. MY one goat. That I have.

Oh they whinge all right. But don't be too disheartened, I don't count myself "Canadian." My passport says so, but I don't believe it!

You know, reading back through your posts you'll have to keep a heck of a reserve of goats, things get your goat so often you must be rapidly getting through your reserves.

I can't, I have only the one goat. There are varying degrees of things that may get him. When time has ended, I hope to be around to decide who gets him.

He is definitely male.
