Of course. And I enjoy being driven by them in a spirited fashion.

Now that I think of it, we took a picture of the speedo registering 120 with my daughter at the wheel. Not sure which computer that's on but it was quite bold as she doesn't have a license.

This is me being driven by my dog, he has a licence, but i don't think it covers him for driving.

I commuted for 2 years from downtown TO to Mississauga along the Gardiner/427/401. It was a nightmare at first but easy as pie after a while.

The worst thing is the multitude of accidents you see every week, there are some really really crappy drivers in Canada.

I'll take that to be a NO then.

Last day today I think, but the majority of teens who drive themselves would have been done with exams already so wont be going now. The parking lot at the highschool next to my kids school is largely empty, so perhaps traffic a bit lighter than normal.

Weather, accidents and construction probably play a larger part in commute time there though dont they?

Then you take it wrongly. I hope that's something you enjoy.

I regularly drove at 100mph (160kph for those who don't speak proper English) on the M4, M5 and M6 without any problems at all. I feel quite capable of similar speeds here on the 400-series highways if it weren't from the damn potholes.

I drove at 90,100mph too but wouldn't feel safe here in the GTA parts of the 401 due to the bad lane discipline, tailgating, and lack of signalling.

Remember they do seize your car at 60 km/hr over the limit.

50 isnt it? But I don't think David is saying that he does those speeds, more that he used to.

Yes, 50 as well! Mininum $2,000 fine (and up to $10,000), 7 day licence suspension (up to 10 years for a second offence), 7 day vehicle impoundment, 6 demerit points. And a massive increase in insurance rates (I see one article talking about rates over $10,000 a year).

Quite frankly, I don't find Ontario drivers any worse than in England. Just different, that's all. Other there in particular, I'm always surprised after only a couple of hours driving, how many really poor, way-under-the speed limit, scared shitless drivers I encounter, that I just don't see as much of here.

Correct Fled. Over here I rarely exceed 120kph on the 400-series highways. Last time I visited the UK I don't think I exceeded the same speed there either.

Potholes, bad driving and the impounding of vehicles has curbed my enthusiasm for driving fast much better than those speed camera vans on the side of the road ever did in the UK.:thumbsup:
