Apparently he's going to be travelling head first at 690mph for around 22 seconds.
There's a link here showing live footage (hopefully they'll show scenes from cameras other than the launch cam):

This should be happening very soon, unless the wind gets up again.

Also they have some sort of communication problem, and the balloon touched the ground during inflation so they have to get another. It may not go off tomorrow either. I want to watch this thing when he does it, they say the ascent will take 3 hours, and the descent 10 minutes.

Kudos to the fella if he can make it happen...5yrs in the making.
They said the tight rope walking wouldn't complete the walk a few months ago, he proved them wrong.
Someone somewhere is probably already thinking of going bigger

Also looking out for this, he said he wanted to break the sound barrier, that would be some feat.
I wonder how fast Kittinger went ? don't think he broke the sound barrier.
Just Googled it, he did 614 miles per hour from 102,800 feet...OMG...His right hand swelled up twice normal size because his glove worked loose.

When I read the title I thought Greenhill was going to do it. Admit to feeling a little let down now

It's on now LIVE, 9:50am Sunday, on YouTube. They have not inflated ballon as yet. Felix is sat in the capsule.

They waiting for wind at high altitude to calm down. My link sucks, the link at top is OK though.

Takes about an hour and a half to inflate the balloon once they start, and the darned live coverage doesn't work on a cellphone! And the bar doesn't open till noon. Hmmmm, a 3 hr ascent means I'll have lots of time to see him jump, if he gets that far. Kittinger blacked out when he did it; I wonder if there's a ghoul factor at play in wanting to see this? No, I don't think so, no more than watching the earlier astronauts.
I was assuming it will be televised, will it and does anyone know which network it'll be on?

Lots of activity now, looks like they're getting ready for an imminent launch.
Not sure anyone would put live footage of this on TV?? Too many big pauses with nothing happening and the high level of risk - not sure they'd want to show him die live.
