Can we have subs when one or two of our picks look like they're getting a bit better?

Just don't agree with this pick another one thing, may as well have picked 100 names from the start, thought the whole idea was pick 6 (or whatever) and the one who gets the most from the original 6 wins.

Whats the point of picking new names.

Make a crap competition even more crap.

Grumpy old git. I'm looking forward to 2013 when I can join in this enterprise. I'm working on names already and am pretty sure there will be a couple of HRHs on my list.

Most certainly: a most felicitous selection. Good luck.

Oh no it doesn't. Just keep half an eye on the thread like I do. I've never even heard of many of the runners and certainly wouldn't know (or care) if they'd croaked if someone didn't mention it on here. Easy peasy.

well then you're fine just carrying on as you are. It's not as if you do anything at work anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that's the first time in 20 years that a Toronto team has won anything. Perhaps the Argos will do well in the the Internationals next season.

Oh, hang on.

For 2013 do we keep our existing picks .... Maybe there should some additional ruling along the lines of 1 person per decade so you can't pick 4 x 90 yr olds to increase your chances ... Or am I thinking into this too much?!

I refer you to the OP, 2013 will be a new thread and you can either retain or replace candidates for your new list. Re: rule 2 - 90 yr olds may be on deck but don't make a lot of points when subtracted from 100. They can also keep going a long, long time, (dear old Zsa Zsa for instance). I picked her without even knowing of the existance of those ghoul deathwatch sites on the internet (now I know where many of you got your picks). I took Justin Bieber as my spoiler just because he likes top end sports cars and he'll be worth megapoints should he experience a catastrophic mechanical failure.
