Didn't somebody actually have him in the sweepstake? Can't be bothered to go back and check, but perhaps Novo could have a quick glance at the spreadsheet at w*rk on Monday?

[Popular culture explanatory note for Novo: JR Ewing, to whom the esteemed jimmydean refers, was a (fictional) character in the unfathomably popular TV series Dallas, played by one Larry Hagman, actor. It is Mr Hagman who has shuffled off this mortal coil. JR was shot, to death it seemed, years ago but magically came back to life in a frantic bid to boost flagging ratings. Apparently there's a "revival" series of Dallas going on somewhere, I don't know if JR was in that, but if he is he'll have to be written out again sharpish. Perhaps he'll be shot properly this time.]

He was in it, and his character was the only redeeming feature.

Re: The 2012 Celebrity Croakers Thread.

I was thinking of doing an entry at the start, glad I didn't now though.

Just don't agree with this pick another one thing, may as well have picked 100 names from the start, thought the whole idea was pick 6 (or whatever) and the one who gets the most from the original 6 wins.

Whats the point of picking new names.

Make a crap competition even more crap.

Re: The 2012 Celebrity Croakers Thread.

I suppose the point of picking new names is so that the player who's just made points still has the potential to make more with 5 nominations same as all other players. Thus success isn't punished, but rewarded. In football would you have a player who scores a goal sent off for the remainder of the game so his team can play shorthanded?
