With Mr. Gibb gone I need another nominee. I choose Thatcher, as much in hope...

I hope she never dies because we'll (or the resident Brits will) will have to pay for her state funeral when she does. Perhaps she died years ago and is actually now a robot that's wheeled out to boost Tory party funds once in a while?

I thought of her because she was mentioned, as a role model, in an "inspirational" speech I attended this week. Canada really is 20 years behind.

Are we allowed to change our lists?
Phil (on mine) will probably cark but I'm not looking forward to it because he has enormous entertainment value.
Can I swap him for David Suzuki?

It'd take several Phil's to get a Suzuki. No changes allowed. You live or die by your list.

I'd happily take Dave, along with the incredibly annoying prannet delivering the Asian business report on BBC World. It's not often a person moves me to a desire to kill.

I would also like to apply to the capricious and arbitrary nature of the competition rulemeister and make a change in my list.
I'd like to swap Paul Gascoigne for Robin Gibb.
I'm aware that Mr. Gibb has, technically, already died, but I'm sure that this mere triviality can be overlooked given that the end result is that a famous Geordie is no longer in the cross-hairs, as it were.
I humbly submit, etc. etc...

No changes, only replacements for the dearly departed.
And you can't change your joker either unless like dollface's they drop like flies.
