Death of right wing idealogue funny, but left wing idealogue not funny? Not terribly well balanced of you.

Not celebrities in the normal sense but as the all knowing gods of knowledge and leading brainiatrics in North America 'celebrities' in their own way.
Hope springs eternal.

Highly amusing no doubt, but somehow not quite in the spirit of the thread.

Try again or move along.

Thing is, while I'm quite sure that obituaries would be published worldwide were I to cash my chips this year, It'd be a bit tricky to get the points because the obits are rather unlikely to mention my BE username. Not to mention the wee problem that I'm keeping the scores.

Still if you're happy....

Well, this isn't as exciting as I thought it was going to be. I can see why horse-racing is a more popular choice for gamblers than waiting for celebrities to shuffle off.

Shall we sing a song while we're waiting?

You have to give it time. Most of the croakers-to-be are either octogenarians or drug crazed kids. They'll started dropping like flies soon.

Also, I reject the short-termist attitude reflected in your haste to taste blood. This thread will run for months (or it won't).

I'd never heard of him either, but please, a bit of decorum. You're perfectly entitled to crow over your own victims, but a little respect for the departed in general.

After all they may be in someone else's game.

Well yes, THAT Michael Foot.

Mandy means the other one.

But since she's so wonderful, she's allowed another choice if she wants one.

See I told you I had no idea who was still breathing or not.

Sigh.

I'll change Michael Foot for Henry Kissinger.

Not lately, no.

I was going to suggest Paul Foot as a replacement, he was a friend of mine back in the early '70s.

Unfortunately though, he too has already croaked.

Was he famous though?

Ah a quick Google reveals he was a political somthing or other. There is a comedian called Paul foot too. I suppose a few points would be scored if he was run over or something seeing as he was born in '74????

I'll stick with Kissinger.
