*69 is $1.25 a pop here. I'm guessing that's just to hear the number because it's always the same amount on my bill and we aren't charged extra for local calls.

It is indeed a $1 (plus applicable taxes) a go here in On, a fact I gently remarked upon to my missus when I discovered it on our suddenly inflated phone bill one month...
