Default Marina recommendations

Hi all,

We are planning a trip for next summer and are looking for any local knowledge of Marinas around the coast of Malta. Our trip will start and finish in Mallorca. We plan to take 6 months and visit as much of the Mediterranean as possible. I realise that this could become a problem when we encounter the Greek islands but we will have to limit, those we visit, to the more populated ones.

Also, any points to be aware of would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Try Portomaso marina (deluxe), Msida marina, (most popular) Gzira marina, Vittoriosa (also known as Birgu) (deluxe) marina, and a new one but not sure if it is open yet, at Kalkara. Might be more, but those are all in the St Julians/Sliema/three cities area

Many thanks aes1, I'll look them up and see how they fit in with what we have plotted so far. Nothing will be decided until we have enough information, and then a bit more.

Thanks

Thanks Domino. Have been looking at either Gozo or St Paul's Bay (Xemxija Bay). The Porto Vecchio Restaurant (Goza) has been highly recommended.
