Default Working on a dependent pass

Hi everyone,

I have an urgent query I hope someone can answer by tomorrow if possible.

Does a right to work endorsement on a dependent pass (spouse) qualify as an 'employment pass'? A company I want to work for has used up its allocated employment passes, so I'm hoping (vainly, I think) that if I get a work endorsement on my DP it will be considered a different thing. But I still need a job offer letter and all of that, so I'm guessing not...?

If anyone could shed any light on the situation, I'd be very grateful. Pulling my hair out trying to get an answer from the actual Immigration dept.

many thanks.
Kate

TK, I don't know, just bumping your post.
Why not just try it and see? Nothing ventured etc.

I think it would be considered separate as the company wouldn't be sponsoring you, you already have a pass to live here if you see what I mean? Could ask a relocation specialist like Santa Fe to be sure?
