Evening all,
I'm a 26 year old guy from England who is potentially moving to KL in a few weeks and wanted some info on accommodation options. Is it reasonable to think that i could live in a 1/2 bedroom apartment on the periphery of town for about RM 1500-2000 a month. What are the transport links in to town? Is it more realistic that I will be living in shared accommodation in the city.
Thanks in advanced for any information

Hi rorykl,
Welcome to Malaysia. :-)
You can try to refine your searches and may even contact the owner or agent directly.

Hi Rory and welcome to the forum
. I'm not based in KL so cannot help you much. However we do have quite a few posters based in and around KL on here so hopefully someone will be along soon to advise you.
You might like to have a browse through some other threads in the Malaysia section as there are plenty relating to accommodation in KL.

Hi Rory,
I'm also arriving in KL soon most likely, 27 & from the UK but living in HK at the mo. I've been using these two but I can't vouch for how reliable they are - http://www.iproperty.com.my/ for apartments and http://kualalumpur.locanto.my/ for apartments and flat shares.

If you are looking for rooms for rent, try www.ibilik.com.my and www.mudah.com.my
If you are looking at the whole apartment/ condo for yourself, check these websites:
http://www.propwall.my/
http://www.iproperty.com.my/
http://www.propertyguru.com.my
City is very accessible via taxi, Buses & Trains
Most expats I know from England rent their own place (not sharing with others).
Your choice. ïŠ
