Must admit it normally upsets me to spend more than RM 35 a bottle but..... Cold Storage have special offer of buy 5 bottles of Fat Bird and get 1 free. I am somewhat mathematically challenged, but think that works out at something like RM 35ish for a very gluggable New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Anyway got my stocks in today so I'm alright jack

It's all relative of course.
Do you get dodgy booze places down in Melaka? Seems to be quite a few up here where duty free bottles have fell off the back of a boat. A certain banana leaf eatery where cheap bottles of whiskey can be bought I understand. And heard of a hairdressers in Bt Ferringhi selling wine on the side
. Penang is a funny old place.

Of course, strictly speaking I believe I'm not supposed to indulge. it wasn't actually mentioned at any time though, so I guess I'm confused. Easily done at my age. I tend to check the prices in Tesco, Aeon and Giant - I haven't actually seen anywhere else in or near the city that might actually sell anything remotely resembling wine!
