Has anyone tried to get PR rather than MM2H?

I don't think its very easy to get. You may be able to get it eventually following a Long Term Resident visa I think.
There's a very good sticky Read Me thread on the subject of Long term residents visa by Bluenose at the top of the Malaysia sub forum. You may want to tag on to that topic and wake up Bluenose

Yeah. Bluenose is a spouse of a Malaysian though. I was wondering if anyone without family ties (ie like most MM2Hers) has managed to do PR rather than MM2H?
