I think a lot of it is the pressure cooker mentality of Singapore.. and I've experienced that and I understand what it's like but.... all the same.... isn't it more satisfying to actually help folks, rather than scoring points?? Geez you really have to wonder what goes on in some peoples minds, don't you.

Mont Kiara is a good, but not cheap, neighbourhood for expats. It's very similar to Bangsar, and not too far away.
