Default Haematologist in KL

We’re hoping to move to KL later this year and were wondering if anybody can recommend a haematologist. Mrs hnd needs regular (6 monthly) blood tests and we’re hoping that somebody can recommend a doctor somewhere fairly close to KLCC, perhaps Prince Court? Or Gleneagles?

Default Re: Haematologist in KL

To answer my own question, we got in touch with Prince Court via their website and got an appointment to see Dr Muhd Zanapiah Zakaria - commonly known as Dr Zak. On the day, the procedure was as follows:

Go to the registration area, get a numbered ticket and fill out a form.

When your number shows on the screen go to the designated desk and get registered as a patient. Cost: RM50 for registration fee and RM235 doctor’s fee plus RM22 for nursing procedure (blood pressure, etc)

Then go upstairs (in our case) to the clinic, hand over your paperwork, wait for the nursing procedure to be carried out and then have your appointment.

Dr Zak is very personable, speaks excellent English and has a great sense of humour. As far as it is possible to do so, we look forward to our appointments with him in the future.
