Are there any tax allowances here in Italy or do you pay tax on all earnings?

Re: Tax Allowance
Thanks.
I have 2 holiday rental apartments which I have to pay full tax on, no allowances.
We have earnt a little more money from a website I assume (but could be wrong can never understand the laws here) that we could claim a personal allowance on this???

Re: Tax Allowance
There are tax rebates for businesses for things like petrol in company cars.
There are some personal rebates that change each year. Things like house improvements, new eco-efficient boilers, children's sport clubs receipts, medical bills etc.
The only sure fire way to know for definite what you are entitled to here is to speak to an accountant.

As far as I know, the only tax allowance on earnings is from little one-off jobs called "prestazione ocassionale". You can earn up to 5.000 Euro like this without paying tax or having to a tax form.

Thanks for your replies.
I agree I will have to speak to an accountant, only problem my Italian is not to that level and I know I will get myself in "a right to and eight". Hey ho that will teach me for not studying harder. Every time the poor chaps sees me he tries to hide under the desk

Re: Tax Allowance
My commercialista gave me a document last week which seemed to indicate they had scrapped personal allowances as such.

Re: Tax Allowance
I work occasionally and I pay 27% tax on all earnings!!
My accountant said that they should rebate me, but it could take a couple of years
So when they do, and if they do, I will let you know.
The tax is already taken off when they pay me.
