Hi,ordered a leather sofabed yesterday for 2400 euro, they only wanted 400 deposit.Quickly got out our credit card,oh no cash only,or bank transfer. The company is Eraclesofa with branches all over Italy and Malta.Should I be worried in the current economic woes of Italy, cheers,Brian.

Hi again,I remember we spent 6 grand with MFI for a kitchen and 2 years later they went bust. That's why we always try and pay with CC for some sort of guarantee. With MFI you had to pay in full up front,I pity the poor sods that paid in cash at that time, cheers,Brian.

It's only 400 Brian, don't worry, you can afford it! What is the cash transaction limit these days?

Usually a sign a company is going to go bust. Looks like the bank have stopped or suspended their point of sale merchant services.
