Have you any ideas on how I would go about finding a property in Sardinia,
- would i just ask people
- would i use an immobilaria (hope this is right)
- or would it be best to get something printed and give out to persons in the area
- ask at local bars and cafes
Agents want to much for what they actually do, I just need to know someone is selling and where it is, then I can go to view.
Take care have a prosperoud new yaer and again thanks for your help, Saluti, Graham

Re: Living in Sardinia
Hi Boyde
We tried buying privately but it didn't work out - various reasons- more than one family member owning land, boundary disputes etc. We also have very good links to the area as my partner is Sardinian.
Would advise that you try an agente immobiliare. The fees will be high- 4% but at least you'll know where you stand. Obviously you'll still need to use a notaio/ notary which are also expensive.
Good luck with your search
