On photos, this place looks amazing, so wanted to find out from anyone who either lives there, or knows a little about this island, off Tuscany.
Safe? Nice schools? Rent and housing? Shops? Anything would be helpful...Thanks!!

Pretty, safe as houses, good beaches, lots of shops, Portoferraio a good place for renting. That's as much as I know.ciao for now,

Only know it as a holiday place - Capoliveri is the best place in my opinion (up on a hill).
Plenty to rent I imagine as it is a holiday place.
Schools are probably like the rest of Italy - crap.
