I take it you aren't Italian but that sort of riposte isn't unknown from a certain sort of Italian.

Italian history is far from clean on all sorts of atrocities but I wouldn't dream of bringing it up in a debate on road safety. Actually I wouldn't dream of bringing it up in a debate on the vast majority of things.
