All the local ones do the same sort of flavours as each other. Every now and again I find a gelataria that has something interesting, like this summer I found a hazelnut semi-freddo ice cream - fantastic!

I like flavours like cookie dough and mint choc chip or things full of choc chunks, caramel sauce, marshmallows, peanut butter, peanut brittle, etc.

Btw, think I have solved the codice fiscal- asked in a few admin offices on base this afternoon, filled in a form and they said they may have back tomorrow for me, with luck.
Just need to see if the nuns let her back in tomorrow on a promise that the paperwork is on it's way...

I remember shopping in the base commissary years and years ago. I bought bacon (bit streaky and small American rashers) but did the job, self raising flour, sliced bread loaves, biscuits and cakes and other things I can't remember now.
