Default Best Internet Radios when down with flu

I read this page on the telegraph today. It's about the best internet radios and tried listening few. Really great stuff!

The 60 best internet radio stations - Telegraph

I also found a great online radio which will keep you company if down with flu and locked in house like me:
Broadcastify - Live Police, Fire, EMS, Aircraft, and Rail Audio Feeds
Listening to the Chicago fire department Audio Feed right now. Madness...I think fever's rising. haha

The feeds from USA are fascinating! I can't believe you can listen to Police radio feeds etc! *Gets out anorak *

Thanks also to list of top internet radio stations.

I'm on the tale end of the flaming Flu and its taken me 3.5 weeks to start to even begin to function normally, so I hope you get well soon. I haven't been so ill for many, many years.

I'm bored of the police/fire audio feed now (didn't take long - hangs anorak up!) but grateful for the internet radio suggestions.

I probably got a busy moment, but you're right, it gets dull after a while. I found the other music sites quite interesting.

my go to music station for eclectic mix is the French public FIP. No ads and only a couple minutes news per hour.

Love FIP, saved channel on my lovely Logik internet radio bought on a massive sale at Currys in Cardiff several years ago.

Duffer, sorry, no adult chats on the list, but cited is 'just a minute radio' (radio 4 just a minute 24 hours a day, anoraks up as some would say), that's probably the naughtiest you'll get on that site!
Cheers

Can anyone suggest a decently priced internet radio device? Must work off wi-fi and pick up BBC radio ... I'm fed up with having to switch the computer on everytime.

(Adult chat not necessary)

Ta.

Yes my phone does too but the sound is a bit 'tinny' .. I'm no hi-fi purist but i know what sounds decent and what don't!

Stone-age i-pad 1 is slightly better if a little unreliable.

I presume you have the Kindle Fire, Hads?

A bit pricey but unlike a tablet or mobile, you'll own this one for many more years.

Cheers, but a bit pricey indeed Duffs, but very nice.

But as it's my birthday soon (as I'm sure you all know) we could have a whip-round....

(over to you again, Duffer)
