Hi everone,

I was wondering to have your openions about banks in Italy. I have an account in post office. I tried to transfer some money from Barclays UK but it doesn't work as BIC code seems not recognize for some reason. Barclays' been investigation about this but didn't get any answer yet. However,

Any openion about which bank,is giving good service especially online banking, lower cost, with which type of account?

U can open an account even if u don't have an post office account , but if they have an account already in Poste Italians then it's ok too.
Btw the bancoposta it's good for online too n it's very.cheap

yes, you are right Lorna, I am looking for an Italian bank which has got good service especially with online banking. I just need to have an account allow me to transfer some money from Barclays UK to here and pay some bills. Obviously, bit low cost
