Re: Anyone in Bali?
Hi onebloke and welcome...as BB says it is very quiet here and I only come in to see if anything new.
I've read you already made some contributions and you can note they are read...just not too many comments. I'm sure when some ask questions there will be answers.
At the risk of losing you I'll suggest that balipod.com is where most Bali expats 'live'. There are some caustic posters there but, as you are a Brit, surely used to that. Most of that community meet-up....usually in Sanur, but I've never met any. Where do you live?
I'm a retired Scot/immigrant Canuck and lived in Kerobokan for some 3 years but also commute sometimes to Jakarta where we lived before Bali.
My wife prefers Jakarta where she Tai Tai's with her galpals....all ex-flight attendants. I prefer bull*** at the Plumbers Arms on Jl Semer...all current losers..

Ha! Excellent intro, like you already. Am only half Sasanach, the other half loves a decent single malt and the Sasanach half is Rugby Union fan (Tigers).
Am actually in Sanur, so I will have a nose at the BaliPod too (thanks).
