Just wondering what the visa options are for a new Zoology degree graduate? I’m a citizen but my niece is currently in Oz on a WHV, wondering where to from here? Is some sort of sponsorship required or does the actual qualification hold much weight in the visa world? I’ve been in Oz since 2010 so all of this visa stuff is beyond me now, I haven’t a clue. If your niece studied here in Australia she would have the option of a graduate visa but as she's here on WHV, I'm going to guess not.

Zoologist would be on at least one of the skills lists, as would zoo keeper, biologist, etc. but as a new graduate, it is unlikely she would qualify as most require experience. But if she can find a suitable job, she might be able to get a temporary visa if the company sponsor her (assuming eligible).

Alternatives are obviously to max out WHV, or maybe some additional studying.
