mhh i got a message from VIC today, they said i can apply only for VIC or WA. They said also that my application will not be proceed as long as i apply for both of them!!!

I made my decission and stay with the VIC app.!!

May you can apply for several but i dont

As I see VIC is a very special state if you wanna take their sponsorship. It's not only your case but some other that I heard about.

Just checked my status today and on the front page there has been a change.

For all applicants:

Medical requirements are marked as finalized
Various other medical lines marked as received.

All dated 01/06/09. Docs sent to HOC by recorded delivery by doctor on 19/05/09.

(On the document checklist all still showing as requested though )

Hopefully this is all a good sign..............

Not sure - as per my post the docs were sent on 19/05/09. Even if i check the tracking number today it still shows that it is with Australia Post for delivery!?!?!? But in just under two weeks the status changed - not sure how long before they are actually assessed (I was a B grade).

I doc's were submitted online on the 26th of march. based on WA current processing time of 12 weeks, I should be hearing from them in about 3 weeks. Hopefully.

I sent mine March 28...My friend sent her docs feb11 and she received the approval just yesterday, June2...haaay! still a very long time to wait I think...

So your friend got her SS after 14 weeks, which is two weeks above the target, the dates are getting longer, I hope they would'nt take 16 weeks for us.

It's not a kind of news somebody happy to hear. Nevertheless, it helps to understand what to be prepared for.

Can you tell me, what is your friend's profession? Is she going to switch from 175 to 176 or just lodge a new 176? did she submitted pcc and medicals?

I think there should be coherence among all this details.
