Victoria state sponsorship lists to be revised by the 12th
I am in the process of applying for a state sponsorship to Victoria. I have noticed that they are currently revising the list. If I apply before the list is changed and my job is taken off could I still be successful? My job is not on the CSL and I was hoping to gain sponsorship to speed up the application.

If your sponsorship has been approved before the list changes, then you are lucky: no issue...and if your occupation is covered within the changed list then again no issue BUT...
If the revised list doesn't include your profession and your sponsorship is not approved by 12th then you may face problem.

South Australia have revised their list as of the 1st January but they are going to honour the applications of anyone who applied before the end of December.I think you need to get your application in asap while your occupation is still listed that's if Victoria works it the same way as SA.
