Victoria Sponsorship, how long?
Hello
I have applied for Vic Sponsorship (Onshore) and don't know how long it going to take.I am afraid these days they might be receiving heaps of applications, process time might take longer.Well my Student visa is expiring on 15th of March and I have applied on 19th Jan.
Does any one have recently applied or received sponsorship or any reply from State government?
Just wanna see how long it takes
Fingers crossed for every one.

We've just received Vic state sponsorship and it took 10 weeks. Applied 14.11.08 and approved 28.1.09

Hello Safaet,
Thanks for the reply,Would you please write me, Has your sponsored state contacted you for allotting reference number while your application was in process?
I wanted to forward my IELTS results to Vic State but not sure if it may delay the process as every passing day is so precious for me.
well
thanks
Kavi

And you can send the IELTS result right away. No issue of being late for this.

Hi, i also applied for Victoria on 19th Jan but still no reference number. Why do you have to submit them IELTS results? They dont ask for it right?

Re: Victoria Sponsorship, how long?
Hi Ramzi,
For IELTS I thought might be they need it like other states but later on I realized they actually didn't ask for one
we haven't been contacted for Reference number Thats stressing me now.Iam afraid these things might delay the process time as you read the thread nickynush has got sponsorship after 10 weeks.
Time is really ticking for me as I have applied onshore and my visa is expiring on 15th of March.
well fingers are crossed for all who are in Victorian boat.

I got my Victoria state sponsorship in 4 weeks. I applied in early December though, before the changes. I believe it takes longer now

Have you applied onshore? I believe it has nothing to do with onshore or offshore.
I have noticed some of lucky ones get earlier sponsorships may its the way they have made their application or may be I am just looking for the reasons to calm me

Re: Victoria Sponsorship, how long?
I applied offshore. I think I just got lucky as they perhaps wanted to allocate sponsorships before the end of the year (got it on dec 30th). They did say that it could take up to 6 weeks at the time, so it's supposed to be pretty fast.
