Default Valid Application

What is a valid application? If AL (paper based) has been issued, does it constitute a valid application? I am from a high risk country, lodged 175 post sept 2007 without the IELTS results. Results followed after. What are the chances of getting refused and the chances of being granted based on merits? I cannot re-apply since I have reached the maximum age early this year. What are my options, if any?

Default Re: Valid Application

A valid application is one that has all relevent information included with it. A successful application is one that satisfies all the required criteria, including the required points, clear medical and police checks and any other checks such as employment that DIAC may do.

Honestly, there is nobody here who can tell you whether your application will be successful. We don't work at DIAC and only your case officer or his/her supervisor will know whether or not they will grant you a visa.

And "relevant" means the requirements set down for the application to be valid, which are usually only a small part of the overall requirements.

Once the application is valid, it must be considered and either granted or refused, in due course.

I also had the same problem I also lodged without IELTS results but schedule and send the booking details, they have acknowledged the Application. Does it sounds no problem at all. I intend to submit my IELTS results in due cause.
Can some one help me on this whether this will be a problem for me.
