I am preparing my TRA application and have done some research, I am worried that the trade I am applying under might not be the trade that TRA give me as my trade as my work experience falls into about 3 different trades. Metal Fitter, General Mech Eng trade person and a vechile body builder. The companies I have been employed with in Ireland call it a fitter though it looks like it might be different in Ozzie. Has anybody had similiar experiences? or ideas on how I can get a positve result.

We had the same problem, but apparently no matter what you put on the form they will decide what you actually are!

Hi Gary have you looked at the TRA web site as it does state that if your not sure what trade you come under just to leave that area blank when filling in the application form. it is hard to figure out what trade you come under if your trade matches up to more than one

Did you get the job title you where looking for? I am hoping for it as I already have the STNI approval from the Vic. Gov.
