Tourist Visa while waiting for Spouse.. ?

Hello,

Is is possible to apply for a tourist visa while waiting for the spouse visa.. ? The processing times for the spouse is too long...!!

I understand that I should be offshore when I get the visa.. but will they grant me the tourist visa.. ?

Try going for one of the skilled visas, then complain about the processing time.
