Totally hypothetical situation
This hasn't happened to me (yet - God forbid) but I was wondering -
What would happen if we were living in Australia, and an elderly relative came to visit on, let's say, a 3 month ETA, and during their visit suffered an illness which then meant they were not able to fly again (eg severe stroke / Heart attack)
What would happen as far as immigration goes?
Just interested......
Cheers

The importance of good travel insurance cannot be underestimated.
