Hi All,

I had requested to DIAC to change my skills to 2231-79 ( Specialising in Java). I got following response. Does it mean my skills are classified under CSL and DIAC consider me for priority processing? Please calrify if any body knows about this.

It should mean that yes, because if you check Q8 from the FAQ dated 16 March 2009, you will know that their system now identifies if an applicant is CSL automatically.

The reply you got is the same as the one I got from DIAC. So it should be ok.

For the safe side send them PLE to include your profession in CSL. Don't forget to mention your ASCO code and specilisation.

There is no harm in informing them.

I applied 175 online/electronic engineer/19th July,09/CO 6th MAY.

CO requested a lot of additional requested files...
I have sent all these..

In the CO letter of additional file requesting, he informed dat I can check progress after C allocation and abt additional files at following link:

But it shows access denied...

Any idea abt this???
How can I check??

Please open it from http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/check-progress.htm and click on General Skilled Migration visa application link.

It does give you additional information about status of your additional documents. You need to click at the relevant links and then input your trn no, etc.
There are a few cases where the additional docs are not updated, just ple diac to confirm that your docs have been received.

If I send filled form 80,need I fill up complete charecter assessment showing in my online application status???

My agent has said as I have sent filled form 80 for me and my spouse, complete charecter assessment requests will be autometically removed from our online application status...and we need not fill up that...

But still after 28+6 days online status shows and demands complete charecter assessment.......to fill....

Any idea about this???

No one can confirm this except for your CO. DIAC is sometimes asking for complete charecter assessment requests even after providing form 80. Let's wait and hope for the best...
