Thanks everyone-TRA ball is rolling!
Hi all
Just wanted to say a big thank you to you guys for all the help and information you have given me since I joined.
The courier came today to pick up our TRA app so fingers crossed for the first stage. OH is applying as an Electronics instrument tradesperson but hasn't actually worked in this trade for 9 years so I have no idea if we will pass- and we haven't used an agent-gulp!
Anyway good luck to everyone going through the same and thanks again

good luck with it! Keep us posted to how you get on, i sent my hubbys tra tuesday, he`s a brickie. Like you we have not used an agent so the nerves are shot!!! We`ve also never been to oz but had melbourne in mind (as we have friends there) but think adelaide would suit us better, but dont know what the work situation is like there for builders.
but anyway we have to get through this bit first!
