No excuse at all. They could use as a local partner someone able to
provide a tracking facility.
On the other hand that costs money - swiftair is cheaper than
couriers, but like everything you tend to get what you pay for.

Even less of an excuse in that case.
It's a free market, there are couriers out there who will provide a
door to door tracking service - make a shortlist from these and go
from there.
