Hi,
I'm on a ELICOS student 570 visa .
When I was extending this visa for the second time there was no problem and visa was issued in one day.
Do you guys think that it could be risky to apply for this visa for the 3rd time?
I'm in group 1 so I'm from low risk countries.
What could be consequences of visa refusal?
Would it prevent me from applying for skilled visa in future?
The reason for applying for this visa again is that I'm waiting for state sponsorship and my actual visa is about to expire.
Thanks for any advice.
Martin

Have you actually submitted an application for state sponsorship?

1. My course has finished 3 weeks ago.
2. I have submitted application for Victoria SS on 4th February. Then they asked for detailed CV. On 17th Feb they sent me an e-mail stating that my application is under evaluation.

You may want to take advice from a MARA agent who may be aware of other options open to you.

When I was applying for visa extension for the second time my first course had finished too.
I think that it's not the case.
I'm just wondering how they could look on my 3rd application.

what was the level of your last English course? Is there another course you could enrol on? Were you enrolled on a course after the first course finished?

First I was on upper-intermediate English course for 15 weeks. Than after the course finished I enrolled for IELTS Advanced course and applied for another student visa. Now my course has finished and I'm thinking of another course.
There are many English schools here in Melbourne. I could go for English for Academic Purposes for example.
All of the courses were in Melbourne in two different schools.
