Still Waiting
Hi guys,
i had applied for my australian PR from malaysia in july 2002. Still
no reply from them. I just have the acknowledgement. How long does it
take more. I heard that some time on the discussion board that they
have started processing july 2002 applications. but still I have no
info on it ?

Auspshan... Yes, you would hear from them very soon. You might like to give them a call to find out if you have a case officer yet. You may decide to get your police checks and medicals done now so that you can send them immediately as soon as the request comes.

but where do you get the forms from? aren't they sent in the next wave of
correspondence?

Do not worry!!
It seems there are just few parallel streams. Some of them go quicker some
of them slower.
I had a badluck and was put to slowest queue. I applied in April 2002 and I
am still waiting . I know some people waiting who did apply in March ( 2002)
and also got nothing.
Just hope that you are not in the slowest one
.
If you got your meds and police checks requests in May you will be anyway
quicker than we are.
So don't worry be happy!!!!!!!!!!!

You can request the medical forms from the Australian embassy in Kulala Lumpur or whichever is nearest to you. Check out the form 47P from www.immi.gov.au for police checks.
