Default Statutory declaration - How long does CO takes to finalize?

Hi,

I uploaded a statutory declaration in lieu of another country's PCC about a week ago. Does anyone know how long a CO takes to finalize such a statutory declaration? Its been almost 10 days and I have not heard from my CO. This is the final document that was pending on my part. Once this gets through I believe we should be granted our visa.

Thanks...

What do you want to hear? The CO does not simply email to say hello. If you are unable to produce a police clearance it may take some extra time for DIAC to do your background checks.

You are quite likely not going to hear from anyone. There is no cut and dried length of time of a visa being granted and you really shouldn't assume that as soon as they receive this document you will get the visa. Could still be months. Or weeks. Or days. Try to put it to the back of your mind and continue with your current life. Easier said than done but it's the only healthy way to go.
