Default State Sponsorship - 2 Quick Questions

Hi There

Couple of quick questions..............

1. If you have state sponsorship, is it a condition that you must work full time? or is it that you must merely live in the state for 2 years.

I have seen a couple of conflicting opinions, anyone have the answer?

2. If you have lodged a 176 family sponsored, can you subsequently obtain state sponsorship and if granted will this affect your application i.e. do you have ot re-lodge or will the state sponsorship meely enhance the application???

Thanks in advance

1 just live in the state, you never have to work again if you can afford not to.

2 When you apply for the 176 you need either a family sponsorship or a state sposnorship - if the State sponsorship comes in during the application, that is fine, they will pull it straight out and start processing it. You may not know which sponsorship was approved and so can assume, unless told otherwise, that you were approved for a family 176 and the State undertaking does not apply.
