Default Spouse Permanent Visa - What next?

Hi all

Can anyone tell me what I'm going to need when I reach the Permanent visa phase of my
application. Do i need to be hoarding every bill and photo or are we going to be
asked for something else we havent considered?

Any good reference points for finding this information?

Hi David,

I assume you are referring to the subclass 100 spouse visa. The evidence requested
tends to vary by location, so you probably need to say where you are. But as a
general rule make sure all your utilities are in joint names, get both your names on
your residential documentation, keep your travel documents if you go anywhere
together, and cultivate a minimum of two Australian friends who can give statements
confirming your relationship.

Cheers

I'm not sure of the class numbers. I currently have a Class UK Temporary Resident SUB
CLASS 820 visa. We applied in NSW. As I understand it the application is a 2 stage
process and that we need to produce more evidence about 2 years after the granting of
the inital visa.. In the last phase we had to go and get them more evidence so I'd
like to be sure next time of what they are likely to be looking for.

Hi David,

If you call my office and ask for Ruly she will be able to fax you an example of the
standard two year letter being sent by the Rocks for spouse visa cases like yours.
That basically tells you what you need.

Our phone number is 97990085.

Cheers
