Has anybody thought about the idea of sharing a container ?????

There must be quite a few people planning to go out to Brisbane during the next few months or so .....

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but it makes sense to me .... i haven't priced any up yet as i'm still waiting for my " Yellow Envelope " any day .... once New Year is over !!!!! but i'm hoping to be heading out around April, although we won't be taking furniture and the likes and it will be mainly personal possesions .. but by the time i've sorted out the junk in my garage this will include tools etc, so could add up to more than just a few Tea chests or boxes.

Thoughts anyone ......on the idea of container sharing ????? or prices ?

I shipped 6 boxes (teachests) out from Liverpool (I was in Cheshire) using Seven Seas. I couldn't reall fault them. My review of them is below

Your shipping agent normally gives you the option anyway, think they call it groupage, when you ask for a quote if you elect for only the cubes you need the goods will be delayed until the agent has filled the container, the other option is that you can have the whole container at a price.

This is why most people think that when the goods dissapear off in a big van, they expect to see them in Aus in 6 weeks, but delays start happening because the agent is busy filling the container with other peoples stuff, If he has other peoples stuff to fill it with that is, otherwise he is going to wait for joe bloggs to come along wanting a few cubes, to put in the container.
