I am brand new to this forum but applied for 175 non CSL Sept 17th. Guess we have a long wait ahead of us! What does anyone think the chances are of being processed sooner than their 'end of 2012' statement??

If possible try it to convert 176. Make this decision after publishing of state plan list which is expected to be approved mid of 2010. However, everything depends upon the demand of your occupation in Australia.

To my knowledge, this is one of the options that I can say at this moment.

I'm a primary school teacher. Secondary teachers and early years are on some of the lists but not primary! Will cross my fingers that it appears on one of the new lists!!

Yes, you can. Ask your agent to forward mail from DIAC after lodgement(online). There you will get all necessary information.
