Well house completion went through smoothly yesterday and we are now officially homeless until our flights on the 21st March.
Keep pinching ourselves as can't believe it's actually happening after all this time
Leaving parties and final meet ups all organised over the next few weeks.
Can't wait to get on that plane.

Flying on Wednesday morning, but leaving our house on Tuesday evening to spend the night in a hotel near Heathrow.

Party number 1 was saturday, family party this saturday! booked in to the SAS RADISSON at manchester airport on sunday, fly 9:15 monday. Will update you all soon.

Not long now til you fly, are you staying with family/friends until then, sounds like a good idea, we flew on the day of completion which made it all very rushed and hectic, in hindsight we'd have slowed down a little

Cheers Sam, yeah staying with family this last few weeks. Couldn't fly out any earlier really as I didn't dare resign from work until we had exchanged, and as that was only the week before completion it didn't leave us much room to do anything.
At least this way our container will arrive a couple of weeks after we do, so we only have to live in an empty house for a short period.
