Lets just hope im as lucky as you and it comes through soon! How long was it after cheque had been cashed until you received your letter/report/statement?

I'm so grateful for this site!! It truely is my new bible and site of all information ever needed by any visa applicant!

Good news - finally! Agent confirmed that RC was lodged today! One step closer!

Excellent news! RCB shouldnt take long and then they should lodge with DIAC pretty quickly. Not sure but I think it was about 10 days after cheque was cashed that I received mine. I think DIAC will need your original PCC so make sure you scan and save it on your PC and keep a photocopy too.

Sorry to have worried you, i knew that the ACPO one was the one we filled in.
Hopefully not many are still using the policecheck police station ones now and you will have it back quickly.

Well sorry to do this to you guys - but I got my visa today!

Sent by DHL from UK on 22/9, receipted at Business Centre on 30/9, granted 15/10. I think that is absolutely outstanding.

Its an amazing feeling - the road in front of you may be long but its so worth it when you get that letter.

Good Luck All!

Congratulations Ponyrama!

It's good to see they're not entirely asleep at the wheel. That being said, the auto reply from an e-mail sent to my ACS assessment officer notes that she's on holiday for 10 days. Nice, eh!

Why do you think 175 visa are going to take longer? Does anyone have any idea how long on average a 175 visa takes to be granted once all the meds, pcc..etc are given in? I'm hoping mine won't take too long as i'm hoping to be leaving in January...Optimistic or not?

Presuming you are a September 2008 applicant, I would say you are optimistic. I'm a July applicant and hoping to have it by March but no guarantees. How long is a piece of string? I reckon Occupation in Demand is a huge issue but just my opinion.

I also am going it alone but not sure it make a major difference apart from a little less work for the CO involved.

Good luck with it.
