self employed? What proof needed?

Default self employed? What proof needed?

Hi anyone applying that is self employed. Just wondering what proof i need to give to show worked more than 20 hours?

We had to send tax returns and a letter from our accountant.

Hi Michelle,
I had a period of self employment and also ran my own business. We had to send tax returns, accountants reference, clients and suppliers references, wage slips and a statuory declaration. I think the more you can send the better.

I only just meet the 20 hour week as i am a therapist, i am concerned that they may not agree on my hours as i do not treat for 20 hours as i have travelling time to clients etc and some weeks are quieter than others.

Really worried they will come back and say not done enough for the year and will have wasted lots of money

I'm not sure about that, however isn't travelling an integral part of a mobile therapist and therefore included in total hours?
