Does anyone know how long a reference has to be for vetassess? My OH requested one from work and it was only a page long saying he has worked for the company since.... and he has excellent attendance....and a very brief overview of the work he does. Is this sufficient or does it need to go into more depth about the types of tools he uses etc? Thanks in advance for the help

hi there, we used a variety of references, some short ones written by OH's customers (he's self employed) and other more detailed references written by me and signed by the gaffers on bigger contract jobs

i think the main point is to send as much, in as much detail as you possibly can....the more the merrier!
