Hi All,

Is it possible to submit a new IELTS result after lodging the 175 visa application??? So first (before lodgement) achieving a 6.5 IELTS result (ready), lodging the visa with this then a few weeks later re-submitting a higher, 7 score result for gaining more points and qualifying for CSL (Accountant).

I believe we have enough point with 6 IELTS as well, but I am not sure that we will be awarded plus points for MODL (closely related occupation, arguable). So in case we won't get extra points for MODL, we need the get plus 10 points for higher English to have 120 points.

Will the new ielts result - if it is submitted after the visa application!!! - count in the 120 points???

Yes you can do this and you would get the extra ten points for the English. MODL points are not effecetd by IELTS either way, so you would have had those already as an accountant.

If you want to get on the CSL list, you need to send a PLE after you have uploaded the IELTS with the 7 in every section.

Yes you can if you have atleast 6 in each component and re-submit the result with 7 in each later for qualifying CSL
