Yes, all rather similar to the A$100k capital investment issue.

Federal Government says it is up to the State and Territory Governments, and the latter then plays catch up for weeks if not months ...

Best regards.

Would be grateful if you could clarify what is meant by completing 'the professional year'. Presumeably this is an Australian approved training scheme?

Who's to say that there aren't sufficient dental technicians in Australia already? It is only a shortage list afterall so that would indicate that they are ok on the dental technician front.

I believe it is the program for those who have completed a period of study in Australia leading to an Australian accounting qualification, as discussed here:

Best regards.

Hi Alan

I would like to clarify the 7.0 on ielts versus the one year PY. The critical list says 'and/or'.

I have 7.0 on ielts but do I still need the PY ?

An interesting read. Husband's occupation is on the list, but we're not sure when we're applying as we have to get his skills assessed first. How long will the list stand for do you think?

Thanks

No. You are OK if you have IELTS 7 or if you have completed the professional year or if you have both.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE !

I got state sponsorship and applied for visa in august 2007. No sign of CO allocation yet. How will new changes affect my application porcessing? My occupation is neither on modl nor on CSL.

Please don't shout.

The way i read it is that as you are state sponsored it will only help your timeline. No-one can give an exact date though!
