PR while waiting for 457
Can I apply for PR while we wait for 457 to crack on? Has anyone been sponsered for PR by thier employers after the visa was granted?

We arrived on a 457 and within 3 months the employer decided to change to an 857.

We are planning on heading out to Brisbane on a 457. But we are getting everything together so we can apply for PR, either just before we go or as soon as we get there.
OH has a job at the RBWH in Brisbane. Employers are submitting the 457 next week and have said they would assist us with PR. Fingers crossed.
Will be keeping a keen eye on responses to this post.

brucekaren, are you nurse or midwife?? oh is a midwife, im looking to be a man of leisure!! for the first couple of months anyway! hopefully be out there in july !
