Police Clearances
Hello:
I have a quick question about police clearances. Does my wife who is
Australian living with me here, in the United State, require a police
clearance? I thought I read somewhere on the applications forms given
to me by Washington that all people over 16 require them, so I was
wondering if she needed them also. Thanks for your help and I'm sure
I will have a few more question to ask in the future.
See I have one more question. I lived in Australia for 4 ½ years and
wanted to know if I should request police letters from the WA state
Police as we as the Australian Federal Police on form 1101?

Re: Police Clearances
Hi Rich,
Your wife won't need a police clearance (although New Zealand citizens with
the right to sponsor do) and yes, you will need a form 1101 AFP clearance if
your time in Australia was during the last 10 years.
Cheers
